Last month we combined the general meeting with the Mary circle meeting and Suzanne Smith we our hostess. We approved the new budget for 2008 and Laura Ragland led us in our Call to Prayer and Self denial service for this year. We are waitng on a date in February to provide food for those working with Habitat for Humanity on new homes, and will need volunteers to help make and deliver the meal. A District training meeting was held in Harlingen on January 19^th with Laura, Suzanne, Jean and Susan attending.  A wonderful program on prayer was enjoyed by all who attended. In the Deborah circle Jean led us in the Call to Prayer and Self denial service and an offering was taken at both meetings to support missions in the US and abroad. Becky is working on the new yearbooks and we hope to have them ready soon.
